Welcome to my extenda-story. Read it, select an option,
and wait a few days for the next instalment.
Chris reaches into the drawer and grabs the closest pair
of boxers. He doesn’t care much about colours; few people see them and he’s
found that those that do see them tend not to care too much. But like most
people, he does like a comfortable fit.
Which is why he’s surprised to find these are very loose
around his waist. So loose that they almost slide down his legs. He looks at them,
and then grabs another pair, only to find that they are equally as loose, as
are all the pairs, he discovers, as he tries them one by one.
Not being able to make sense of this, he decides on the
least loose pair, determining to buy some more later. Pulling on his pants, Chris
quickly discovers that they are also too large, both in the waist and also the
length. Examining the label, he notes they are two sizes larger than what he
normally wears.
Mystified, he tries another pair of pants, which are also too
large. He looks at all of the pants in his wardrobe and cannot understand why
they are all precisely 2 sizes larger than he wears.
With a confused and sinking feeling, he turns his
attention to his shirts, all of which are also 2 sizes larger than his body.
By now he can smell the coffee coming in from the kitchen,
and decides to drink a cup, hoping that this might bring some clarity to the
bewildering situation. Taking a sip, he experiences a measure of relief that
the cup and coffee are all normal.
Sitting at the kitchen table, he notes the jacket he left
hanging on the chair the previous night. It also appears large, but he can see
a business card sticking out of the top pocket that he cannot remember putting
there.
Pulling it out, he looks in confusion at the simple name
written on it: Satoru Azikiwe.
